学院航空系飞行器设计所陈海昕教授获得2016年度美国航空宇航学会（AIAA）副会士（Associate Fellow)荣誉称号。AIAA每年从全球会员中进行副会士和会士评选。该荣誉称号授予“who have accomplished or been in charge of important engineering or scientific work, or who have done original work of outstanding merit, or who have otherwise made outstanding contributions to the arts, sciences, or technology of aeronautics or astronautics.”

2016级年度共新选出副会士150余人。AIAA将在2016年1月SciTECH会议期间举行副会士荣誉授予仪式暨晚宴。除陈海昕教授外，本期入选的中国大陆学者还有中科院姜宗林研究员。
