Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects
At present, mainly engaging in composite structure design, intelligent repair technology of aviation composite, aircraft structure design, rubber seals, experimental mechanics and non-destructive testing.
Research Status
In 2022, co-founded the Joint Research Center for Intelligent Repair Technology of Aeronautical Composites of Tsinghua University-5720 with 5720 factory and served as the director of the center. It has completed a number of state-level scientific research projects, involving major research projects of large aircraft C919, C929, regional airliner ARJ21 and type equipment. The research work includes: design methods and verification of composite materials, intelligent repair technology and system construction of aviation composite materials, development of aviation rubber seals, design and verification of typical aircraft structural components, advanced nondestructive testing methods and experimental mechanics technology, etc.
Honors and Awards
(1) Second prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000 (ranked the second); Digital speckle correlation test technology and application
(2) First prize of Natural Science of Ministry of Education in 2011 (ranked the second); Mechanical theory and experimental characterization of advanced composite and preparation methods
(3) Second prize of Natural Science of Yunnan Province in 2020 (ranked fourth); Research on optical nondestructive testing method and application in damage mechanism analysis of civil engineering materials
Academic Achievement
Presided over and participated in a number of national scientific research projects as a backbone. Relevant research results have been published in important academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 140 SCI indexed journal papers.
