The first ABET group meeting in School of Aerospace Engineering(SAE) was hold on Oct.26,2016 by Prof. Bin Liu, the vice president of SAE and totally 26 persons attended including Aerospace group, Mechanical group, Student Affairs group and Academic group. Prof. Liu reiterated the importance and background of ABET, while Prof. Zhanli Liu from Department of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Hexi Baoyin from Department of Aerospace Engineering gave an introduction respectively about previous preparation and the subsequent plan for their undergraduate programs, as well as the revision requirement of curriculum and courses syllabi, of which the international assessment standards (A-K ) was emphasized , especially the relationships between the student outcomes (SOs) and the program educational objectives (PEOs).
